We are a Southern Baptist Church and the history of Pine Grove has spanned for over fifty years. This Church began March 16, 1958, with thirteen people from this area desiring a place of worship within this community. These thirteen individuals came from different backgrounds, but had one thing in common - a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to see people's lives changed. Many dear and devoted people have contributed to the growth of this church over the years.

This church has been built on the foundation of the Word of God. There have been eleven pastors in the fifty year history of this church. Our current pastor, Rev. Jerry Bryant has served this church and community for over eleven years. Over the years each of our pastors have served this church body with love and devotion by proclaiming the love of God with compassion and zeal.

What began fifty years ago in a little three-room house, has developed into a very vibrant, mission-oriented church that has explored ways to reach out and meet the needs of this ever growing community. Currently there are plans to expand the child care facilities.  It is the vision of this church family to add new buildings to house a pre-school that could accommodate approximately 200 children. We currently have kindergarten classes and 1st grade, with expectations to add a grade each year through High School.
